Simple Sunday Thought; Everything has an end. That’s just a fact. But an end doesn’t mean a stop. Many times an end of one thing is simply an opportunity for something new to take its place.
For instance, for many years in the USA they ran a massively successful campaign which prevented forest fires. Why? Because people saw forest fires as destructive…an end. But they weren’t an end at all. In fact, for many forests, they are totally essential. A chance for new life to flourish by clearing away the old to make way for the new. The campaign in fact harmed many forests by preventing them from completing their natural cycle of rebirth and regeneration.
When was the last time you let yourself burn away the old to make way for the new?
